Title: Fly Away ft. Gavsborg & Alozade

SWINGTING013 sees the follow up from the Equiknoxx Music crew after a whirlwind year including touring the UK, Europe and Japan, topping numerous end of year charts with their amazing DDS-released LP ‘Bird Sound Power’ and the 2016 summer smash ‘Bubble’ alongside grammy-nominated Devin Di Dakta.

This time round sees Gavsborg back on the buttons linking up with veteran dancehall deejay Alozade. ‘Fly Away’ marshalls a sound halfway between Equiknoxx’s hardcore bashment works and the experimentalism featured on their recent instrumental compilation. Alozade voices the raw, callous riddim nastily in a straight badman fashion with street lessons and warnings for the badminded. Gavsborg dubs things good and rotten on the instrumental with wonky hats, wayward cymbals and oddball frequencies flying left, right and centre.

Limited (300 copies) 7” of Equiknoxx Music’s “Fly Away” features the Original mix flipped with an all new “Dub” version first heard on the Kingston collective’s Fader mix.

The dub of “Fly Away” finds Gavsborg on the boards dubbing & scrubbing things good and rotten launching dancehall deejay Alozade’s vocals into another dimension along with wayward cymbals & wonky hats.
